A few Bible verses to memorize that will empower you to deal with stress, grief, guilt, and trials.

"That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn't life more than food, and your body more than clothing? Look at the birds. They don't plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren't you far more valuable to him than they are?" Matthew 6:25, 26, NLT.

"I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the Lord and put their trust in him." Psalms 10:1-3, NIV.

"The righteous call to the Lord, and he listens; he rescues them from all their troubles. The Lord is near to those who are discouraged; he saves those who have lost all hope. Good people suffer many troubles, but the Lord saves them from them all;" Psalms 34:17-19, GNT.

"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trusteth in Thee. Trust ye in the Lord for ever, for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength." Isaiah 26:3-4, KJ21.

"Let go of anger, and forsake wrath; do not fret—it surely leads to evil deeds. 9 For evildoers will be cut off, but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the earth. 10 For yet a little while, and the wicked will not be; you will look diligently for their place, and it will not be. 11 But the meek will inherit the earth, and will delight themselves in the abundance of peace." Psalms 37:8-11, MEV.

"My brothers and sisters, think of the various tests you encounter as occasions for joy. 3 After all, you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance. 4 Let this endurance complete its work so that you may be fully mature, complete, and lacking in nothing." James 1:2-4, CEB.
